Showcase: Flippant - Serendipity

Hello Beauty's!

Lazy lazy Sunday! That's what today is. I am so tired and other people I've talked said they feel tired too. Maybe it is all the stress in the world. 

Anyways, Flippant came out with this dress for St. Patrick's Day originally, if you remember it was in green and super cute! But now it has a bunch of colors and I just like it a lot. The capped sleeves feel very fairytale-ish to me and I felt it needed a background fitted to it. So... here it is!

Since I've reviewed the dress previously, I'm not going to go into it much, but it does have a pretty awesome hud now and comes in standard mesh sizes XXS-L.

Hello Beautys!

So tons of places are coming out with girl swimsuits, right? Girls have a plethora of swimwear to pick from. But guys... they have nothing! There isn't very much out there for our guy friends and what they have is honestly questionable! If any of you girls have ever tried to dress your guy friends, or even have a guy avatar yourself, you know what I mean!

Well, fear no more! I found awesome swim trunks that work! Hallelujah, right?!

You all know I love love love Flippant! All her clothes are cute and sassy and even have a hud to change colors. This suit is made for men and no different! Flippant has made male clothes before, but not much. If you remember she made a couple outfit for valentines day and as far as I know, that's all. I could be wrong though.

But lets talk about what you get. I know when I tried to dress my sl boyfriend when I had one, he could never find anything that would fit, so he would never change. God, his clothes must have been so dirty! So, here's what cha get! The swim trunks, obviously, these come in TMP Sizes, Slink Sizes, Adam, Gianna, and even Aesthetic sizes. Even standard mesh sixes XS-L. There is a pair of sandals and flip flops for slink. Sorry I'm not showing them but this avatar has no slink feet. Crazy, right?!

These sunglasses look awesome. If you wear them with a suit you can look like your in the Secret Service! A fun extra is the mp3 player that goes on the arm. I hope its waterproof!

And finally, because it is from Flippant, you get a hud for the shorts and mp3 player that changes between 6 different styles for the shorts and coordinating colors for the mp3. You can mix it and match it too.

So, if that guy you have your eye on makes up an excuse not to go to the beach because he has no clothes that fit, show him this outfit. Or better yet, tell him to go naked! :P

I Want Adventure In The Great Wide Somewhere

Some people believe they are one in the same. Do you?

I don't.

I think beauty comes in many forms. We all try to recreate it. In pictures. On ourselves. In our homes. In other people. And yet, there is still so much ugly in the world. We still feel in creeping up along our skin, into our bodies and invading our minds. Why?

When we put standards on what beauty is, that is when you let the ugliness creep in. 

Unacceptance. Unkindness. Jealousy. To me those are all forms of ugliness.

You are beautiful.

Everyone is. Beauty doesn't have to be what you look like. It could your words. Your voice. Your thoughts. Your heart. Your kindness.

When I was a teenager I had this idea to smile at everyone. I was bullied a lot but I always tried to hide how upset I was by a smile. So I thought that if I could hide it, other people must be hiding it too, right? Every time I saw someone I met, I'd send them a smile. Sometimes I would get the most gratitude filled look back. Other times I would get nothing, or a look that was like "Uh, why are you smiling at me?" But those looks of gratitude really made me start to feel better. Smile. You never know who might need to see your smile today.

Speaking A Dead Language (6/28/16)

Hello Lovelies! No, I'm not dead! Just been silent for awhile, trying to figure out some things.

I have been contemplating a picture like this for a few days. It is supposed to show the turbulence that can happen in a relationship when one person feels a certain way and the other sort of... 'turns cheek' so to say. I know its not a very happy then to say but when I got this hair at the arcade I just thought... wow, that isn't a happy pose! And so I came up with this!

And thank you SO much to one of my best friends helping me by posing! He really has been with me through everything. You are the best, most amazing friend in the world!

Okay so these lyrics - originally i was going to use the song Unsteady from X Ambassadors. But less then an hour ago I was watching Greys Anatomy and I heard this song and... ugh, its so sad but really spoke to me! So, check it out on you-tube and listen to it!

A Very Happy UnBirthday To You!

Hello Lovelies!

Today I wanted to bring you more stuff from the arcade, and tomorrow I will show you a darker version on this dress because it is just really cool! At first I didn't really like it because it is BIG! Like the skirt part is just huge! But that's the style, and the fitted top part fits how it is supposed to.

So, it took me awhile to get used to that, and I did!

Now, I love the arcade! It is probably one of my favorite things in SL! When I first started, I had no idea what a gatcha even was! How weird is that right?! But when I found out and started to go to these things, I was hooked! I don't usually add real life money onto SL, because I have a few SL jobs where I earn linden, but OH, for this event, I do I do I doooo! And after any arcade opens you will always see a ton of blog posts from me blogging all the things!

Okay so, one of my favorite songs is Dollhouse from Melanie Martinez, so when I saw that one of the sponsors for the arcade was showing this hair I was incredibly exited! This hair is from Olive. and it is life! I love it so much! It is called the Lullabies Hair. It really fits my personality too. Plus, it matches pretty well with this dress from MoonAmore+CURELESS. This is the MeltyDessertDress which is a rare from the Sugar Coated Collection. You can change the colors, which I love. Now, I changed it to match the shoes which are from the same collection and creator, obviously but I just want to talk about them separately for a minute. They fit slink, which is fine but.... the style is so... awesome! I will show a close up of them on my flickr soon, they are just so cool! I don't know! They are different and unique and crazy even! There is a lot going on on these shoes!

Fun In The Sun With Flippant!

Good morning Lovelies!

Look at me, I'm on a roll posting in the morning and pumping out showcases! Oh wait... its actually afternoon now! I'm one hour late! Still close!

So... hello beautiful!

Summer is here which means bikinis and beaches and heat and water and fun!

But lets talk about the bikinis for a bit, yes? I'm sure many stores will start releasing some as they do every year but Flippant just came out with one and it is super fun!

As most of you who read my blog know, Flippants outfits come with a hud to change colors and this particular outfit has so many extras that there has to be three huds to be able to customize everything! So, what do you get? Good question!

A bikini, obviously! Which is a two piece, so the top and bottom are separate which is great if say you are just visiting the beach with a friend and want to wear the top, but with a pair of jean shorts then you can!

The top comes in sizes XXS-L and a fitted mesh size. Bottoms also come in the same sizes. But this outfit also includes this really cool belt (with a resizer script built in) that's got these amazing feathers on it. And, a awesome pair of sandals that come in maitreya, slink, and belleza feet sizes. So, how cool is that? 

OH... you want more? Well, actually there is a really cool feather tattoo for the back of your calves which I will show in another post soon! The tattoo comes with appliers for system bodies, maitreya, slink, belleza and omega!
