Innocence...

 

It is something everyone wants and yet it is something that so easily slips away as we get older.

Remember the innocence of being a child? When just going outside and running around could be the highlight of your day?

But innonce fades as we get older. Do we let it go ourselves, or does it naturally just slip away leaving us unaware until one day we realise it is gone.

And once it is gone, can we ever get it back?

Nowadays we want kids to grow up so fast. Electronics and outside forces push this idea that it will be better when they are older. But is it really better? 

"Dont' cry" "Be a big girl." "Don't be such a baby." 

Really? These are the things we say to children? Let them cry. Let them act their age. Soon that innocence will be gone.
