Hello Lovelies!

I hope you love my new fairy tale style post! I had a great time making it. This picture was inspired by a friend who I have had for awhile. We never really spoke much until a very interesting game of truth or dare led us to talking quite a bit. I love the twists and turns that fate can give you. One minute you can be on a long, winding road by yourself and suddenly find yourself kissing a frog! Let's see if he turns into a prince!

Now, as for the landscaping, I apologize for not having all the links. Most of it is in the credits but I have to say I was in a very bad spot and people kept coming in and out of my picture! Plus there were so many plants all connected. So, I did what I could. Most of you are here for the fashion anyways, right? Or to hear my lovely stories. Ha! Yeah, right. Anyways...

Showcase: Flippant - Cameron

Hello Lovelies!

I'm back with another showcase!

First though... how are you all?! I know I haven't been posting as much, and I will try to get some more done. I might even do another post after this, we'll see I'm not too sure yet! ((Although I might just do a picture so be sure to check out my flickr. ))But let me know how you're all doing. I feel like I haven't been blogging as much but I just want to push out more quality other then quantity!

Alright, so! Flippant released another new outfit named Cameron. Fun fact of the day - Cameron is one of my nephews names! I love that name! This outfit is one hundred percent mesh and comes in fitted sizes and standard XXS-L however as with all mesh I would encourage trying a demo before use. I'm using it here with my maitreya body and it fits pretty nicely. The included, yes, included shoes are for slink and there is also jewelry! The included necklace and earrings are beautiful and compliment the outfit so nicely! One day I will have to find a good way to layer pictures so I can show you up close pictures without showing you tons of them! 

Because Flippant is great, there is a included hud with many different color options for the shirt, skirt AND jewelry. That is one of the things I love about Flippant! Not only are the clothes amazing quality but the coloring and in turn styling have so many possibilities! Plus, the fact that this outfit comes in separate pieces means that if you want to wear the shirt with a different pair of pants, or even the skirt with another shirt, that's possible as well. 

With Flippant I almost feel like its a real wardrobe! Mixing and matching is so fun and this outfit is a must have if you like to do that!

Showcase: Serendipity - Personal Space

Hello Lovelies!

Finally, another post for you all! I needed some inspiration, lately I have been in a funk and I just couldn't find the strength to get up and get creative. 

Not all of my creativeness is back but some of it is and that is because of friends, music, and some awesomeness from creators that make me look at things and say "Oooooo! I like that!"

I'm showcasing this couple pose today because when I opened it I had that moment! 

A lot of poses in SL are just that. Poses. Pre-set stands or sits that have no emotion. Yes, those are nice sometimes. When you're just doing a picture about how you look standing there is great. Easy really. But this pose from Serendipity really tells a story to me. You can feel the emotion. Whether its lust, anger, cockiness or even protectiveness. There are so many things that it can be interpreted as. So many different things you can feel from just a pose. And I love that!

I've talked about Serendipity before. Their poses look so well from all angles. This one does that as well but honestly it looked so great from other angles. I almost changed position because one of the other sides were so great. It would be a great picture in a corner.

Another thing I wanted to talk about which I wont say much about in this post since this is a showcase is the Luxe Box. I'm wearing the hair and shirt from it and I highly recommend checking it out. It's basically like a Loot Box for SL. But anyways, I will talk more about that in my next post so stay tuned for it. I will try to have it up in the next couple days!

Darkest Of Times

 

Hello Lovelies! I wanted to take a little picture today and honestly, it was just going to be a raw shot for my flickr, I was honestly just fooling around with some stuff, but then it ended up looking so good that I decided to share it with you all!

Earlier today I went to the we <3 roleplay event. It is an anniversary for it, so there are quite a bit of gifties out! Although be warned, some gifts are not gifts as they still cost 10L. They are gifts in disguise!

So, like I was saying, I set out these lanterns and decided to take a picture. I wanted to go with a desert/night sort of look. The lanterns weren't too bright however and I ended up adding one of the luster lights I have for rezology hairs into the lanterns. Weird, right? But it worked! 

So a while ago I did a post on depression, I was quite depressed myself when I wrote it. This post is more about stepping up out of that depression and feeling a little bit better. There is still a lot of dark, but there is also light. And I think that is something you need to latch on to and hold on to when the dark is threatening to swallow you whole. I don't know, its hard to explain!

I added a very famous quote from non other then Albus Dumbledore. If you know anything about me, you know that I am probably one of the biggest Harry Potter nerds out there! It is more then just a book or movie series to me. This series had literally helped me through some of the roughest times in my life and that is one of the reasons I keep going back to it. The characters within the pages have become my friends and my advisors and my enemies. I don't care how silly you may think it is, it's how I feel!

Showcase: Flippant - Fresh

Hello Lovelies! Showcase time YAY!

Alright, do I even need to go into how much I love Flippant? You all should know by now!

This awesome little outfit is another one designed and made by Flippant for the May round of SWANK. Now, SWANK opens on the fifth so today and it closes on the 28th. 

So whats in this outfit? Well, of course it is the adorable little sundress. I love this dress. its beachy, casual and oh so cute! And... its fitted for Maitreya! YAY! If you don't have maitreya, it is also fitted for TMP, Slink hourglass, Slink physique, Belleza Freya, Isis, and Venus as well as standard mesh sizes XXS - L. As I've said before if you cant find a size in all those sizes that fits, you need a new body. Seriously!

I usually dont wear yellow too much, Sometimes it can seem pretty loud and obnoxious. But the yellow on this dress just dances along the line and still stays on the right side, not yet crossing into loud. I think it's perfect for summer. Still not so sure? The dress comes with a hud that has not two, not three but TWELVE color options. TWELVE! I think the grey makes it a perfect dress for working out, the flowery ones make it great for summer nights and even the gray but colorful flower one has a great 70's vibe. Even if you aren't sure if the dress is for you, I'd definitely demo it.

Now, you aren't just getting the dress. You're also getting a flirty little leg tattoo that matches Flippant's monthly gift which is a tattoo in the same design that runs along the shape of your breast. I'm personally not a big tattoo fan myself but this leg one is fantastic and if you are a big tattoo person, adding the gift one would be super cute! Both of these tattoos come with appliers for slink, Belleza and Maitreya.

I want to be Billy Mays for a minute and say "BUT WAIT! There's More!" Because well, there is! Included in this pack is a necklace, earrings, a bracelet AND these cute platform sandals that are fitted for Maitreya (YAY!), Belleza and slink! Now the shoes and jewelry come with a hud as well and these huds are put together so it doesn't clog up your inventory too much. There are three options for each that you can mix and match. So how cool is that?

Hammie And Me!

Hello Lovelies!

I promised I would show you all this head and look how frickin adorable it is! It is from a store called SOMEMORE and I am so in love with them!I was able to get it at the SaNaRae Event which the current round ends on the 5th so hurry up! You only have two days!

It was so hard to get this head. I actually feel like a horrible person because I was saving up for two months for mothers day and then suddenly lost all of my self control and spent all my hard earned money on trying to get the rare pack of this head.... But, (after a bit of sulking on my part) I told my friends what I did and I honestly felt like I was confessing some horrible sin to them! Because my friends are the BEST! They also played the gatcha for me and guess what?! They got the rare for me! I love them so much! And I love this head! I do apologize for all the exclamation points but you can not possibly fathom how excited I am to have this head. This is how I have wanted to look for the whole five or six years I have been on SL. I'm so glad to be able to look the way I want. Really!

So, if you are playing this gatcha and wondering well if I win the rare... what do I even get? You get the head, of course! But you get a few different heads, each with a different expression like sad or sleeping or happy and even basic. There's also a wink which is adorable! The rare head pack, also comes with a makeup hud.

My friends also got me the rare eye pack, but you can use your own mesh eyes if you want to. I zoomed in really close to the eyes when I was bored last night and they have teensy little beautiful sparkles on them! UGH! I love it!

One thing I want to point out is that even with the regular heads, you get sl skins and Maitreya and slink appliers. So you don't have to worry about the skin not matching. Unless you have a different body of course like belleza or TMP. Personally, I use maitreya on everything, but you know that!
