If You're Homesick, Give Me Your Hand And I'll Hold It (LOTD 3/31/16)

Good Morning Lovelies!

I was in an exploring mood today and went to visit some of the sims in one of SLs Home and Garden Magazines. I believe it was from the Love To Decorate Magazine, or LTD. The magazine comes out about every couple months I believe and that is how I found some of these sims. If you were wondering that is!

This sim is called Greenhill Residential Community and I believe it is based off the California Rockies landscape. Now, I'm not looking for anywhere to live, I love my home sim way too much, but this is a nice place as well. I've visited it twice already, its nicely decorated and seems very quiet if your into that sort sort of thing.

Spring is here and I am so excited for it. It means summer is around the corner which, for a lot of people means vacation! That is why I wanted to show you all a little explorer/vacationy sort of outfit.

I bought this dress and sandals last summer. They're both fitted for maitreya which is awesome! The hair is from I believe last years hair fair. WHICH reminds me... summer also means hair fair! Which also means helping Wigs For Kids and tons of free hairs too!

If you've read practically any post in my blog, you all know I love REIGN. They have the best shoes in SL in my opinion of course. But did you know they make all sorts of other accessories? My backpack is from them and its resizer is a lifesaver. My avatar is very, very small, especially compared to others out there. It is just the way I prefer to be. So things that either fit to my body or have an easy way to resize by going into edit will make me a very happy girl!

Just Don't Let Me Disappear (LOTD 3/30/16)

Good Morning Lovelies!

I was feeling a little 70s in my outfit choice this morning which is interesting as I'm not much of a 70s fan myself. But... we aim to please! I got these jeans a while ago a fameshed and I could just never get them to fit. Ive had this problem before and I don't understand it. If you have any types of hips in SL, you know what I'm talking about! The pants just cut right into your hips. What the heck is up with that SL? People have hips... fix your standard mesh! Its not even like I have massive hips either! I got a little tiny butt and just a little bit of hip to look nice. 

Ugh! rant over!

I kinda forget where I was going with that. OH! YES! The pants! So, these pants still have that problem, but as they fit the theme I was going for so well I just said eff it. You can see a tiny tiny clip because I don't photoshop, but that's normal...for these pants.

Remember how yesterday I told you guys that sometimes Apple May has items for 25L? Well these tops were from one of those mini sales last summer. I love them!

My hair though... now this is new! This is the Daenerys Targaryen style from rezology. Its called Mhysa and of course when you hear that name your mind goes to the creepy as heck scene where shes in front of a crowd. They all start hissing and your like what the heck is going on here?! But then they all start cheering "Mhysa! Mhysa! Mhysa!" Oh, I LOVE Game Of Thrones! And I need to start a marathon because season 6 is coming in APRIL! So like two weeks I cant hold in my excitement much longer!

Tale As Old As Time (LOTD 3/29/16)

Good morning Lovelies!

Have you ever woken up from a deep sleep all disorientated? I did this morning and it is so strange!

Anyways, today I felt like being fancy, so I put on a ball gown and was originally going to travel to one of those fancy schamncy family sim places that has an outside ball room that is pretty but then I remembered one of my friends gave me a landmark and was like "Hey! Check this sim out, its gorgeous!" And... OH MY GOD you guys!!! He was sooo right! I haven't even checked out everything this sim has to offer, but its my new favorite photo places. And now I know what to do today! Today I am exploring this beautiful place called TELRUNA.

My dress is from Apple May. Once in a while Apple May has one of their amazing items on sale for 25L. I'm not sure if its monthly or what but one time this dress was for that price and how could I let that go? It comes fitted for mesh bodies and even in a black and red set. For 25L, its a steal. Although I'm sure it is back to the normal price now. When I bought it, blogging was only a dream in my tiny little head!

Pray For Belgium

Good ... afternoon Lovelies. I am so sorry for the incredibly late post today. This will be a short one due to the content and the fact that I am not feeling well.

As we all know, something horrible happened in Belgium last week. My heart and soul go out to each of the families around the world and the survivors who have been affected by this. 

In SL, some stores have shown support by setting out free gifts with the Belgium flag, or in Belgium colors. Flippant made this necklace and you can get it at the mainstore to show your support as well.

That is all I wanted to say today. I'm sorry for the shortness and I promise to have a better and longer post tomorrow.

Also the reason I am not crediting anything is because this is not a post about 'things'. This is a post for the people affected by Belgium.

Elements (LOTD 3/25/16)

Good Morning Lovelies! I'm sorry if this is up late but I'm sleepy!

So yesterday I went shopping around with a couple of friends - my two best ones! And we went over to the kawaii fair. I LOVE cute things, you know that. But oh my gosh! SAKURA FLOWERS!

EVERYWHERE! YAY! There were Sakura flower poses from Glamrus and sakura petals on the ground from +Half-Deer+ and I am just in love! So I wanted to show you a pretty little picture with them!

As you can see, I'm obviously inspired with this post. The petals, the wind, the unicorns. How can anyone not feel beautiful? I think that is the whole thing about second life, at least to me. Feeling beautiful. So many of us- and I'm not just talking about second life here- but so many of us have such deep rooted body issues. Whether we feel we are too fat, too thin, too freckly, not pretty enough, not good enough. And I honestly think along with our peers the media helps put these pre-conceived images in our head of what we should be. When is that last time you saw a movie where the lead character was a beautiful overweight woman who found love? And made it romantic? Sure there's a couple overweight woman in comedies. As if having a few extra pounds is funny. But since when has it become wrong for an overweight woman to be romanticized? If shes happy with her body, whats wrong with that? Is it not romantic?

*Siiiiiiiigh* anyways! I believe I've gone off topic again! What I meant to say was basically these pre-conceived notions start at such a young age. So stop! There is no reason to be ashamed of your body. Little girls all over the world are growing up ashamed of their bodies and its not right, Boys too. Love your body. After all, it's the only one you've got!

Showcase: Serendipty - Cry...

Good Morning Lovelies! I am back! First of all I just want to apologize. This month has been crazy with computer bugs and fixes and then physical health issues. Lets hope things start getting better!

Today I'm going to show you another set of great poses from Serendipity. She is amazing, let me just say that right off the bat! I've said it before, but I'm going to say it again because it is really true: Serendipity's poses are true quality. It really shows how much work she puts into them. I have bought poses from other places, expensive ones even that either still move or have legs going through arms or things like that. With Serendipity poses, every limb is set perfectly still and every angle is perfect. I'm not even saying this because I blog for her - it really is the truth!

The poses I will be showing you are a three pack for the Pose Lover Event. Check it out if you have time, the new round doesn't start until March 27th but it runs until April 10th. So, this pack is called 'Cry...' and I really got in the mood while taking the picture. Not to say I was crying, I wasn't! All The Things That I Need (LOTD 3/22/16)

Good Morning Lovelies!

Spring! It's here! Yesterday there was snow on the ground and now its gone! At least where I live. Even the schools had snow days but by one o clock it was all melted. Soon you'll get to see all kinds of creatures coming out of their dens and winter hiding places with their cute little babies! I'm excited! Are you?

Because with cute little spring babies also comes adorable new breezy clothes! YAY! Light colors, light fabrics, pastels... OH! And rain, rain will come too and thunderstorms! I used to be terrified of thunderstorms. When I was a kid, I was in my bedroom which had bay windows. The curtains were all drawn and there was a thunderstorm and then BAM! Lightning stuck right between my house and the next door neighbors. Everything went white and I nearly cried! I may have screamed. It was so scary! I believe it was that year my mother got so tired of me being scared that when the school announced a science fair, she made me do my project on thunderstorms. It was actually really cool, we even made a little box that had lightning made from a camera flash. For some reason, someone who did a project on potatoes won... Because it wasn't rigged at all... The next science fair was at a new school, my friend and I did clouds. It was literally a piece of cardboard painted blue with cotton balls pulled apart to look like different clouds and somehow we won that! But anywaaaaaaaaaaays! I got way off track there!

So! Spring! Clothes! Spring clothes! Like my dress! This is another from =Zenith= and you know how I love love love =Zenith=! I can't remember if this was a gacha but it was from last spring. It is probably back in their store now. This adorable little bunny that I'm holding is another item from another of my favorite stores: Sweet Thing. I'm glad to say that they have been doing quite a lot of events lately. This bunny was from kustom9. All the little bunnies on the ground are from collabor88 and are made from in my opinion the best animal maker out there which is +Half-Deer+. I know its a little hard to see my hair but it is from this months gacha round and its is sooo cute! ~Tableau Vivant~ is the maker and its got two little pigtail sort of buns and awwww!

Also, finally another new thing that I am absolutely incredibly in love with is my new head and skin! Its the .: fiore :. Precious head with the Doll Applier that is at the Skin Fair and I LOVE it! I want to wear it all the time!

Broken Trust And Broken Hearts (LOTD 3/21/16)

Good Morning Lovelies! Can you believe I woke up to a snow covered house, road, street, even town?! Maybe even state?! Craziness! Anyways, how was your weekend! I had a really good day on Saturday and then spent Sunday with my friends so I have to say it was pretty good. 

Your probably thinking uh, you feel good? Because your title says other wise! And yes, I feel good. For me the titles are with songs that I can feel a certain level of connection with or just lines in a song that really resonate with me at that moment. I believe I would not be here today if it wasn't for music. I really do. Music is every thing to me. It gets me through the hardest times and when I had absolutely no one I still had music. I cant sing or dance but I love to do it anyways and I think everyone should! It really makes you feel great! Just try it! Move around, wiggle a little and sing your heart out!

Showcase: Flippant - Ali Burlesque

Good Morning Lovelies!

One of my favorite movies is Burlesque - it is sexy and sassy and sweet too. All of those elements make that movie shine. And I feel like all those elements went into this dress from Flippant! This little number is exclusively at the Ross Exclusive Event where the theme this round is Cinema.

I know a couple of people who do actual burlesque in SL and this would work great on their show. It is one hundred percent mesh and comes in a whole outfit which includes the corset (obviously) in standard mesh sizes XS- XL, panties in standard mesh sizes XS- L, a fitted mesh size, and a slink physique size, Slink High Heels,  a choker, and eyelashes that are of course modifiable so you can move them. One of the reasons I love Flippant is because they always come out with awesome outfits. If I don't know what to wear one day, its okay because I have a whole outfit set up!

Just putting this corset on made me feel beautiful. But once I stepped on to this sim, I felt like I was in a dream. It is so beautiful and surreal and just... awesome! If your in to taking pictures, you have to check it out. Its called Luanes World.

Good morning Lovelies! Happy St Patrick's Day! 

I have a lingerie set here from .Elysian. that is all decked out in green stuff for St Patrick's Day! The lingerie set itself is pretty cute and then there are 6 different designs in the gacha, so that's pretty sweet!  Everything fits nicely with very few adjustments. There is another gacha as well that come with extra garters and even the little spanker/paddle I'm showing here. Why don't you take your hunny over to the store and tell him that you'll play with him tonight if he buys you gachas!

Do you have any plans for St Pattys day? I know most people have corned beef and cabbage, but I live by myself so for me its just another day for dinner. I know people in college sometimes use it as an excuse to go drinking. And, hey if that's your thing, have fun! Do any of you really celebrate it because your Irish? I'm a little Irish but  never really learned too much about it. Let me know in the comments if and why you do or don't celebrate St Patricks Day.

Good Morning Lovelies!

I just had to check my clock to see if it was still morning, but it is! Okay so, as I'm still getting back I have a couple showcases to show you and I'm so excited to do so! They are all great, especially this one from Flippant. It is a little coat which reminds me of a raincoat so it is perfect for spring. And of course, because Flippant is awesome it isn't just the coat, its a whole freakin' outfit WITH a color change hud!  Woo, let me tell you whats included before I spontaneously combust! You get the coat. Duh! But there's also legwarmers which I love! I probably should have been born in the 80s or something. Then, you also get a pair of the most adorable slink high shoes ever! The color changing hud is so simple as well. You don't have a separate hud for separate pieces, its all in one place. You can mix and match too, so say you wanted a blue coat but with pink polka dot accents you could do that. Or a black coat with a red belt. You could do that. Or maybe a red coat and black shoes, yep you could do that too! The coat comes in fitted mesh, which fits my maitreya body with a couple alphas (like all fitted mesh), and regular mesh sizes XXS-L. Now the leg warmers come fitted for Maitreya YAY!!! They also come in regular mesh sizes xxs to large AND a slink hourglass size AND a slink physique size AND a classic fitted size. If you cant find one of those to fit you then you dear have some problems! Just kidding... sort of! The shoes come in slink high, but also belleza sizes. Do you want to know a little secret? The creator was also trying to get them in maitreya but it wasn't working. So MAYBE you'll start to see some maitreya shoes from her, maybe! I cant promise anything of course.

Alrighty, now to my photo, how cute are these little chicks? I nearly died when I saw them. From their cuteness of course. I love how the front one is sitting with me and then on the other side, you have one peeking out like "Hello therrre!" ... Oops I did it again, you guys probably think I'm insane! A little bit of crazy is good though, right? Anyways, this photo was taken at... you guessed it, another place at the family community I live at: Orchard Heights. If you are looking for a place to live, I highly suggest checking it out. Even for pictures, its just gorgeous.

Beautiful Destiny (LOTD 3/15/16)

My Lovelies! Do you have any idea at all how much I missed you? I don't think you do! I missed you so much I nearly died.... kind of! Ugh, it is so good to be back! I'm so happy to be here! Lets get right into it.

For this picture I first was going to do something with shadows and sunset and window lines but then I added this balloon and it felt incredibly dreamy. So I went through TONS of windlight settings trying to find the perfect one. Pink ones, foggy ones, night ones, light ones and finally settled on this. I probably should have used a foggy one but I wanted the balloons to show in the background. This is in my backyard and I cannot take credit for decorating it but I love that path with the balloons.

My dress is my MoonAmore from the gatcha fair this round. One thing I do have to say about this dress is that it runs extremely small. Maybe because its a corset but I usually fit in XXS-S and this is a small and I had to change my shape into a pretty much anorexic one. Don't get me wrong, it beautiful and I love it. But because it is a gatcha, keep that in mind and go up at least one size if not two. Or better yet, try and find a demo, they should have one at the store. But about the fair...did anyone else lose all their money there? I went crazy. I kept buying more and more gatchas when I had already got what I wanted. Then when my linden balance reached zero I was just like....whoops! I swear it is an addiction!

Anyways, I am back for good now. I got my computer fixed AND upgraded, plus I have free support for a year now. Now you're all stuck with me for at least a year!

Issues (3/8/16)

Good morning Lovelies! I sincerely hope you all are having a better day then me. 

Here's whats going on...: My computer is acting up BIG TIME. So much so that I cannot get you all a picture and I have been trying my hardest.

Showcase: Serendipity Poses - Searching For Harmony

My Lovelies! Good Morning you beautiful, amazing people! How are you all today?

I wanted to talk to you guys about my weekend posts, or lack thereof lately! When I started my blog I knew I wanted to post however often was normal... but then I realized everyone posts whenever they feel like it. So I decided, you know what, I will stick with this and do it everyday. But I needed a day off, so I chose Sundays. But I realized that on Saturdays I am scrambling to get posts done and that does not show quality when its rushed. So, from now on I will be giving you guys a post Monday - Friday with  VERY rare exceptions. One of those exceptions will actually be happening this week. On Friday I will be traveling to Boston for a very important meeting that cannot be missed. So there will be no post that day as I will be leaving home very early and I don't know if I will be spending the night in the city. But it is my RL hunny's birthday weekend so I will be gone all weekend.

Do you remember last week when I told you all I was now showcasing Serendipity poses? Here's another set! I thought this one would be great with some wings, especially the first one down below. I really enjoy the softness in these poses. The way they can all look a little different by changing the angle - that is something that this creator does really well with her poses. To me it looks like she really inspects each part of the body with her poses to make sure they all look right, and that is amazing. I mean I have gotten poses that still move or have body parts stuck in body parts, but never with Serendipity, these are truly quality poses and I'm not just saying that because I blog for her. You guys know I'm honest! Sometimes maybe too much!

Okay, so I'm at the Memento Mori sim again! When you arrive here, it asks you if you want to enable your media. Usually I would click yes because Chouchou - the band who the media plays is great and relaxing! However, it was turning the ground on full bright. So, keep that in mind if you decide to explore here. I would still recommend going here, it is amazing and the music is so hauntingly beautiful. This is a great place to relax or just chill.

Showcase: Flippant - Oh Good Goth!

Good Morning Lovelies! Another Showcase, I know its crazy! So many this week! It should start to die down next week though, but I'm not promising anything!

Okay so today I get to show you a gacha set! Flippants first gacha set ever! How sweet is that? I will leave a gatcha key at the bottom so you know what you can get. I really like this gatcha set, it fits nicely and its just the right amount of rough! I don't really have any problems with it at all, everything fits the way it should and the texture is nice. I could see someone wearing this if they were like a goth or rebel in high school or just relaxing at a bar, or something! I don't know, but I like it! The top and skirt, even though they go together would also work with other pieces to create different looks.

So... what is in the actual gatcha? Well, the tank for one, this comes in standard mesh sizing XS-XL and yes, fits those sizes well, it doesn't run small or anything. The skirt, of course also comes in standard mesh sizing XS-XL, and you can play it for different colors. Now the boots are not for mesh feet however, but because of the socks you can just take your feet off and the socks are high enough that you really can't tell. There is a ring set, bracelet set, necklace set, and earring set. You can see them all in the picture or a better view on the gacha key below. The gacha also comes with a tattoo and this has regular system body appliers, your standard shirt layer or tattoo layer but it also comes with Maitreya, Belleza, and slink appliers. The tattoo is really nice, I really like how it is small and in a spot that is visible, but also not too visible and easy to cover up if you wanted. It is on the back right shoulder blade area and if I was not getting greifed while trying to take this picture I would show you. The things I do for you, right?!

Yeah, as I just mentioned I was getting greifed by three jerks while trying to do this picture. I am at a sim here called outbreak which is a zombie apocalypse roleplay. I used to roleplay here last summer but my group broke up and I'm not really that much into zombies! However, I do miss the character I played, she was pretty badass! This outfit would actually look pretty good on her!

So, there ya have it! A new gatcha by Flippant, the first one ever! Go play it a couple times to support all her hard work. Showcase: Flippant - Serendipty

Good Morning Lovelies! You know what the beginning of the month brings: Showcases! And because it is March, there are a few St Patrick's day outfits, or green stuff! And why not, green is nice, and associated with luck. I'm sure we could all use a bit more luck in our lives, I know I sure can!

This dress is another green inspired one by Flippant. Because it is for the Swank Event, whose theme is Luck of the Irish this month, it does not change colors. But the texturing is really nice and detailed! The dress itself is cute but I had a tiny issue with fitting it just right. Usually I fit into XXS-XS, sometimes a Small but here I'm wearing a medium so I would say the sizes do run a bit smaller then usual. The Small would have fit me if it didn't cut into my thighs just a smidgen, but that problem is gone by going up a size. Because it still fits nicely with no clipping and the texture and cut is so nice I would give it a thumbs up for sure. Now this dress comes in standard mesh sizing XXS-L and comes with a pair of slink shoes for slink high feet. Flippant also has a matching nail set sold separately which is deep green, like the dress. As you can see I'm wearing it here! It matches the dress perfectly and is also for slink hands.

I want to take a moment to talk about the sim I am on. It is a residential one and it is so beautiful! I feel blessed to be able to blog here and you should really check it out. It is an up and coming family community called Orchard Heights and it is just so pretty and the owners are super nice and accommodating. It is definitely worth checking out! The beauty of it is just breath taking!

Go check out Flippant at the Swank Event, it runs from March 7th to 31st so you have a bit of time to save up and shop around, there are a lot of other designers as well.

Showcase: Flippant - Enchanted

Good Morning Lovelies!

I have a beautiful little post for you today super early because I have not gone to bed yet... Forgive me for any mistakes but I am exhausted! I decided to write the post now, before bed so that you guys can have the post a little earlier instead of insanely later. Because I love you guys!

First of all... I love these unicorns! I went crazy at the arcade buying them!

Second of all.... St Patrick's Day is just around the corner and I have a couple of dresses from Flippant that are green to show your love. This is the more formal of the two and is sold at the Swank Event. It comes with the shoes, fitted for slink, and there are nail polishes that match perfectly for slink hands sold separately. The dress itself  comes in mesh sizes XXS-L and with a number of flexi attachments. Normally I am not comfortable with flexis but this dress looks beautiful and flowy with them and it also works without it. The sizes, while mesh are not fitted so there was some difficulty in getting it just right, bit it seemed to work out. There is minimal clipping in the back of the shoulder, but hair easily hides it.

I am sorry if I am all over the place today, but I am so exhausted so I am trying to get this done so I can sleep!

Showcase: Serendipity Poses - Dowry

Good morning Lovelies!

I promised you all that I would tell you the new store I am blogging for and here it is..... Serendipty! I am so excited because she makes such beautiful poses and I am so excited to help showcase her things! She also makes some tattoos and if she sends any out with appliers I will definitely show you. Right now Serendipity is participating in a two week event called the {Pose Lover} Event, so I will be showing you Serendipity's poses from that.

Today is a three pack of poses called dowry. They had me feel very beautiful and I felt they called for a soft, sweet pose.

The sim I am at is a beautiful place for pictures as well, I recommend taking at look there. When you teleport there, you need to walk through some store booths to get to the picture area.

And finally, my outfit since this is a fashion blog... well, mostly! Thank you thank you thank you thank you to one of my best friends! She always goes gatcha-ing and sends me gifties and I will not lie, I love it and I am so grateful to have a friend like her! This set is from PIERO and it is interesting, in a good way! I love the dress, I really do and I love that it is a soft pink. The boots are cute, although the toe part puts me off a little bit. I personally don't like the hooves sort of look but I know there are a lot of people who do, so if you do, check out this gatcha! There is also a matching little pocket/bag thingy that goes onto your thigh but it doesn't fit me very well even though it is supposed to be fitted. The whole thing is like inside of my thigh so there was no point in showing you guys! You can get this set at .Whimsical. For the life of me, I cannot find the stores LM or even MP url, so here is a taxi to the .Whimsical. event. Also that is why there are no links on the bottom.
